Letters of thanks
Andy,
I am writing this email to show my appreciation for the tremendous accomplishment that you and your team achieved on the Whiskey Dick to Crescent Bar troubleshooting effort. Silke not only went the extra mile but did so with an upbeat, positive can-do attitude.
When I first called you on Wednesday you didn’t know who I was and within minutes you were mobilizing your team. You were willing to get started and mobilize with an open PO and a promise. By late in the day on Wednesday I was communicating directly with Chris Novara and his confidence and obvious microwave experience was immediately recognized. As we discussed the details of what needed to be done he expressed that Silke was in a unique position to satisfy our request and further that he had deep experience with the Exalts we were using. Additionally, he was prepared to take a spare radio AND an antenna to help with whatever the problems on Whiskey to Crescent turned out to be. Within minutes he had his team identified, reservations made for overnighting in Ellensburg and had immediate plans to mobilize that night and be there as late as 1:00 am in the morning.
I was called first thing Thursday morning and Chris was on site and already had a plan of attack. By noon he thought he knew what the problem was and by mid-afternoon the problem was fixed. The final solution required that three separate problems be rectified and the field team was able to take care of all of them in a speedy fashion.
Andy, this level of support, experience and positive attitude is a rare thing in today’s world and I want to let you and Silke’s management know that not only did you help me out of a jam but it was also a pleasure working with you.
Please pass this along to others as you see fit.
