Silke Communications Acquires Advanced Paging & Communications in Spokane, Washington

SPOKANE, WA., Sept. 18, 2023 — Silke Communications has acquired Advanced Paging & Communications (APC) in Spokane, Washington. Silke has a long legacy of providing strong and reliable digital radio coverage to western Washington users as part of its FleetNet Digital radio network. The Spokane addition is part of network expansion that will continue east, with the location serving as a physical logistics and service location for current Silke customers as well as those previously served by Advanced Paging & Communications.

“Spokane is a natural growth area for Silke,” Jim Silke, Jr. described. “With agriculture, enterprise, industry, education and hospitality sectors booming there, it’s exactly where our services are in high demand and where we perform at peak.”

The Spokane company has been serving customers in eastern Washington, north Idaho and northeastern Oregon for more than 45 years. “Its long-term relationships and communications services are very similar to Silke’s and the two have worked side-by-side within the industry. It’s a good match for everyone,” said Silke.

All contracts held with Advanced Paging & Communications will be honored, and the location and phone numbers will remain the same. The process of transitioning to the Silke brand, which is established nationally, will take place over the next quarter.
